Hey guys,

Can anyone point me in the right direction for some decent cans, ive been looking for ages trying to research all the different ones available over the net, i ordered a pair of ATH-M40X Professional Monitor ones last week but they leaked sound and everyone around me could hear my tunes and started to complain in the office, i need them so that no one bats an eyelid when im cranking up some beats.

So i returned them.

Thanks all.

Oh my budget is about £100.

Decent is a pretty subjective term?, why not buy In-Ear Monitors (IEMs) I use IEMs with SRS Audio Sandbox which provides pretty immersive sound and cannot hear them externally like buds or cans? If you want professional grade likely find signing up to an audiophile website such as head-fi more beneficial.. I've used several sets of entry level Philips SHE range and Ultimate Ears entry, mid-market, and uppermarket IEMs and the only complaint I've had with them is product life and longevity yet always received refunds, replacements, and upgrades

I can't find them on that site now weird, ive just had an email saying they being delivered tomorrow, maybe it was a price error. as they nearly double that price else where.

Indeed, perhaps they realised the error and pulled the item, or maybe it just happened to be the last set in stock.

Likely clearance price or price targetting (differential pricing). It's not unusual for major retailers to change the price after X amount of units have been sold or during various times of day, week, or year - I've found Amazon and Shopdirectgroup: Littlewoods, Very, Isme, kandco, and Woolworths) frequently mainpulate prices as described to maximize profits but were you reffering to RHA MA750i?

If so reviews here from bunch of headphone enthusiasts and audiophiles

Thanks for the info didnt know that, yeah i was referring to the MA750i.

Cheers for the link it came in handy reading the comments, Some good and semi decent reviews on them, im sure they will fit my needs. Im no audiophile but some of the reviews on that link do claim decent isolation, thats the main reason i plumped for them.

I do have some Flac albums to try when they arrive. i did read somewhere they have a burn in period of around 100 hours. does that sound about right?
