Subelectro trident were the makers - I'd say the year was around 1985.

Edit to the previous post - the year is nearer to 1987 as the £4 jackpots didn't come in until late 1986.

nice one captain never heard of that company Subelectro Trident What else did they make??

late 80's appear to be right as in £4jp/10p play. Strange machine this, when I mean strange got all lamps in there rightful places it does attract mode when starting up but when you've played it and let it go idle it doesn,t go into attract mode like other machines just sits there as if its switched off, and when you get holds it makes a little tune lol. not sure if this streaks yet only had the £ hold 3x's

Just been mooching around the net. Subelectro trident gaming was a company up the road from me in Cheltenham also had another machine manufacturer in Brimscombe, stroud. Anyways subelectro started trading in 1982 then ceased trading September 1989. They also made rainbow gambler what others I've yet to find keeps coming up with a machine called gold strike.

The batch I acquired had a load of subelectro stuff in it, most of them mup4 but sadly most are poor quality prints.

This flyer although not top quality has produced a reasonable looking layout. Some flyers are shit I mean they've got dozens of lines through important parts of the machine text. Some have too many buttons, like two start buttons 'very rich geezer'
I find bellfruit the worse.

^ *knew...

I remember seeing a flyer for Maygay Super Sleuth, a layout I really wanted to create but it was the worst flyer and wasn't possible to create a layout from that...  Fortunately Ady supplied some pretty sublime glass scans at a later date.

Thats what my rovers return was like. It had lines through almost every part that needed to be lamped but fortunately the scan was of a decent quality I was able to zoom in on PS cs4 and was able to clone 85% and the rest I had to re-draw which was not something I had done much of before. I got an itch to do a layout atm as my hours at work are pretty dismal and I have about 60 hours a week spare atm lol. 10 hour contact and the boss gave me 2 shifts this week one for 3 hours and one for 4 hours. Thought if your contract says we will give you 10 hours work a week they had to give you 10 hours, but according to my manager thats not the case. Also bar staff/waiters don't get the same break entitlement too if you work a 6 or 8 hour shift you only get a 10 minute break for the 8 hour shift and nothing on the 6 hour shift just a free kids burger when you finish your shift.

Anyways I am still up for doing a layout. I am thinking mpu5 mid 90's something that need's re doing. Any ideas?

Why don't you wait for the release of the epoch emulator or do a personal favourite that you enjoy playing? I've started many layouts only to get bored after so long after realising I don't actually like the machine.

Not sure what resources are available for epoch machines though.

According to law (working time directive) you are entitled to 20 minutes break in any shift longer than 6 hours. The break should take place around the middle of the shift.

However there is not usually any entitlement to be paid during your break.

Sorry to derail the thread!

No break on a 6 hour shift, like said above you are entitled to a break, I thought it was a 30 minute undisturbed break for a 6 hour shift.

I sometimes get so into my work that before I know it I've been sat there for 6 or 7 hours, I try to get up every hour from my computer work and pop out for 5 minutes.
