Ive decided to have another crack at doing this, I think the emulator was the problem, constantly crashing and wouldnt load reel bands properly, all of a sudden its working.

Im a bit stuck on getting the machine to accept coins in doors shut mode.

The machine boots fine and goes into attract mode but no matter what coin option i select (ive been through all of them JPM £1 MPU £1 MISC £1) even the binary ones, non of them will work the machine just sits in attract mode?

I have some tick boxes which operate the doors but thats it, they dont enable anything :(

Thanks!

Both doors open lets you test the machine, 38-39

or 38  checked lets you play in free mode, have you managed to fix the shuddering reels, if not you will be wasting your time with this one bud.

Ive managed to get the reels to line up, they still judder but not to the point where you cant see what they are on.

I remember on the actual  machine the reels had a very very high pulse rate, sort of like the MPU5 system, maybe this has somthing to do with it?

Ive tried a bit more messing about, if i take 'smooth' off on the reels they dont judder at all, I have noticed however they are going off set a bit the more I play it.

Yeah taking the "smooth" off does help, but as you say the reels go out of sync slightly,
which emu are you using , as I am using 2.1(tried in 3.2 ) and the reels go well out of sync
I have the reels settings as this
offset 12/flag 4.

still some fiddling with it to hopefully get it to run smoothly, then work on the coin inputs.
"if" I get it to work I will send the settings over to you

It's great to see your still active HT6, I wish you luck in getting it working 100% It's a nice little machine. I played it at Cleethorpes a few years back and it broke down on me :-/

Reel 3 went out of sync then got stuck and the machine alarmed. Also good luck Cardie with the layout bud.

Thank you very much HTS, I keep having a dabble every now and then, im using MFME3.0 for the editing then testing it in 3.2.

I had the Offsets at 16 and flags at 2 which seemed to be the best I can get so far.

Bump, are you still working on this one mate?

it runs ok in mfme v5.1 (except the reels go slightly out of sync)
