Just to let folks know, we have been doing some tiding up and compacting various sections of the forum, so as to make it easier to navigate and find what you need more

quickly.

Would welcome comments and suggestions as to other improvements and modifications you would feel will be of benefit to members, in our Site Suggestions forum

sorry to say this layout doesn,t work. I mean you only get to see all recent topics including forthcoming releases general fme discussion etc if you log in, I mostly lurk around as a guest especially at work or if I,m out on mobile phone to view topics, so I,ll find it harder to navigate through the sub sections to view latest post.

1 suggestion if I may. some sites like the mecca and especially jackpottyforums also dadsfme did it. when you sign in you have a choice of how long you can be signed in for i.e a day/week or months could this be implemented on here saves having to sign in all the time

There is the option to keep yourself signed in permanently by ticking that box... if you do so, you should automatically be logged in every time you come to Fruit Emu - I always am when I have ticked it.

The only time that it clears is when you clean your cache/cookies and browser data - so you shouldn't have to sign in every time you visit, if you've ticked the 'keep logged in' option

At the moment, we have locked down on guest access to pretty most all of the forums, mostly as a security concern (Quite a number of forums automatically do this), however as Daryl has mentioned, where we feel it to be minimal risk, we would certanaly look at changing this.
