Hi some of you may be aware I have one working i/o board for my two machines Fortune Trail and Copperacount and I swap this board every so often to keep them both going. Unfortunately now the unthinkable has happened and my one working board will not boot either machine. The copperacount just keeps clicking the slot every so many seconds, and Fortune Trail just beeps for a few seconds stops for two seconds and beeps again. I thought it may have been my memory board on the CA but its deffo the i/o board as it wont boot Fortune Trail now.
What is really strange is that Im getting no led indication from either led 1 on the left or led 2 near the right. And I know the fault will be top left or top right. For all its beauty and I love system 80 machines, but they are hard to find faults. Does anybody have any idea where I should start. Unfortunately I dont yet have a logic probe.
