This is a bit daft because it means the kids can't play (the JP is not over £5 so that's ok, but the stake is above the 10p limit). As for being legal - i don't see there problem provided they have a small JP AWP license.

In my slotmachines manual it can be set to 25p play £5 jackpot so i dont think it will be ilegal becasue thats what JPM have programed the payout chip to do :?

Go to a bowling alley - most machines are £5 25p. Its a shitty stake/prize - but are supposedly fun to play - frequency of features etc. When you play them though - NEVER take the JP take £4 wins etc. Winning the JP will kill the machine stone dead.

I think the point is people will play it........!!!!
You'll find this isn't breaking the law..........It pay's the JP out more often...or so it's said...........
Whereas a 5p play £75 JP pay's out once-a-year!!!

AFAIK the legal limit without license is £5 with 10p spin without a license, and a 'Medium Stake/Jackpot' license would be about £780 a year.
I doubt very much if they have such a license, but then, if you think it plays well, keep playing it.
Note, Joseph said that 25p@£5 should be legal above, I ran Each Way Nudge at £5/30p, and it was mad. I'm sure that at the moment, without a license, £5 @ 10p is the max.
Seeing as how they are approving £2,000,000 jackpots from English bandits, and the Club jackpot will become £2000, I don't think it matters. I got out while I still can

Another point to bear in mind is that if and when the new legislation is introduced scrapping the maximum jackpot size, as part of this legislation, fruities are going to be banned from all chippies/takeaways - period. That will make this argument "fruitless". (Please don't all groan at once)

Aren't they required to display the gaming licence in a prominent place? Ought to be on the wall somewhere I'd have thought. Place I used to work had one, it was years out of date lol.
