File Name: BWB Volcano Classic
File Submitter: Dougsta
File Submitted: 02 Oct 2010
File Category: MPU 4

Here is a classic of BWB's Volcano. Thanks to guitar, HT6, robinhood75 and bandityboy2006. Also thanks to Ploggy for getting the 7 segs working.

Great machine this. Sounds are a bit messed up but not too bad.

Shortcuts as normal.

This runs quite well to say it's an mpu4 machine they normally run shit slow but this doesn't,whats the crack with it keep giving me a 2 from the start eruption then dead

I noticed that about the 2 as well. I put about £50 in so far and unless my memory has gone selective again I have to say that the £15 version played better.
I thought that it was this machine that screamed "DIE!!" at you when it killed you, but obvs not. Which one was it?

I'm working on the dx lads, I sent the roms over to dougsta which is why it says 1280 dx i'm sure he will change it soon. It can be very tight this bugger and kill you first press and dont forget to hit the BWB button when its lit as that can give you red sky at night.
Hornynick the sounds are messed up on this because the sound files are too big and too many, so it may well say die on the original machine but on this its not going to work sorry, thats why when you get a ? at position 4 no matter what it gives you the sound is extra life!!

Thanks for all the hard work on this dougsta and nice to see that the segs are now working. Just so glad a classic machine i spent hundreds if not thousands on is now on my pc, very happy chappy.

I think it has a smaller sound file and has only 2 or 3 sound files.

Doh! I knew about the sound problems but it never occured to me that was why it didnt say it!
I am 99% sure it was Volcano BTW, not that it matters.

Anyways good luck with the DX and hope to play it shortly!

I'm pretty sure it was Mummy Money Mummy that used to say die. Glad everyone is enjoying the release.

try going through the samples in the emu see if its there, it it lets you that is.

EDIT just been and had a look, it would seem that die is not in the samples so it may well be another machine.

Hints and tips.

Lighting VOLCANO in the top left of the classic will award 'secret passage'. Press the hold buttons for hidden features.

1-2-3 = £1 repeater
1-3-2 = £2 repeater
2-1-3 = 3 shot climber
2-3-1 = fast cash
3-1-2 = hi/lo cash
3-2-1 = £3 repeater

Good tidy layout, cheers!

Thanks for this...An all time fave of mine that I play far too much at Mr P's! Can be fun, can be horrible sometimes as well! I love machines with the best of both extremes

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.
If you are more interested in playing modern machines,

(DOND is around now on this site..... How long was this sig out of date...!)
