I wouldn't dream of using a device(well I might dream...I just wouldn't do it) but I have known fruity players who use them.
Most of them think that machines are fair game for this sort of fraud because they feel that they themselves were robbed by machines in the first place - they're only getting back what they lost...

That's pretty much the way most criminals think - they've been hard done by the world, so the world owes them a living.

Using a device is really no different to breaking into the cashbox with a crowbar - it's theft, pure and simple.

However,in the case of fruit machines I think the criminals *have* largely been created *by* the fruit machine industry - all the players I knew who used these things were addicts long before they thought about using strimmers etc,and if it wasn't for fruit machines they would probably never have got involved in this sort of thing.

Ultimately, and *morally* the blame lies with the industry for creating the addiction in the first place, but that sort of joined up thinking probably won't penetrate the mind of the judge and jury that sentences any given scally to a custodial sentence for robbng a fruit machine (or burning down an arcade... ).

The fruit machine industry should have been put in the dock years ago, but what chance that when the likes of Tessa Jowell are in charge?

I think it's wrong that people even consider using something like this.

By all means play machines using skill and knowledge to try and empty them but using something to manipulate a machine like this is straightforward theft. If you do it in a quiet pub then even more shame on you as it will come out of the friendly barman's pocket rather than the fruit machine manufacturer's.

Boooo.

wtf? i'd love to rob every penny of the owners/key holders money f*** the licensee!

Sorry - just posting to become an active member. Hope the device brings you wealth though!!!

it will either open an eletronic garage door, or lock you out of a ford escort, it will not do ANYTHING to a fruit machine.

Firstly Hi everyone, as this is my first post.
in the advert it mentions about why you cannot use mobile phone on planes as it messes up the electronics. this is untrue its all about triangulation of transmitters and nothing to do with planes. i wont go on any more to complicated, in regards to wether it works.....
you decide. we have tested this and dont ask me where or how as i cannot tell you, lets just say its the industry i am in and who i work with.
if you want to spend your money good on you if i could sell them without fear of any comebacks i guess i could become quite wealthy. just like the guy selling this one.
good luck and merry christmas

In a system for locating the position of a transmitter, a platform containing an antenna is moved through a measurement path. The frequency received by the antenna is measured at measurement points distributed along a measurement path. The frequency is measured by cross correlating coherent pulses of the received frequency signal. An inertial navigation system on the platform indicates the position of the measurement path. A computer determines estimated locations by non-linear least squares convergence starting from trial locations. The non-linear least squares convergence is based on the frequency equation for the received frequency ##EQU1## in which f0, is the transmitter frequency, V is the antenna velocity and r is the range of the transmitter. The computer evaluates a cost function derived from the frequency equation, for each location estimated by the non-linear least squares convergence and selects the estimated location with the lowest cost function as the best solution.

Seems straight forward to me...
