Hi guys,

Anyone had a play on these yet? If you don't know, they're touch-screen FOBT type machines like in the bookies, but with 4-5 different fruitys on them, all independent of each other regarding payout (apparently- that's what I read).

Typically they'll have a DOND, Casino Crazy, Trail Blazer, Bully's Tin Can Alley, Battleship.

I think I've just run incredibly well on them, but I love them, especially Trail Blazer - a 3 zone board type thing with 3 different DOND games, values getting higher for the more icons you collect - first board for 1, second board for 2, third for 3. I've played this machine perhaps 6 times, each time no more than £10-£15 in, and had 3 megastreaks (all for £45ish), and once had 4 super strikes hit £35. (I was on 25p play).

As I said, I think I've just been incredibly lucky but the play and payout has been fantastic so far. Have played the DOND twice - standard streak once, and £25 COB once. Bully's Tin Can Alley is a good fun play but no decent wins as yet.

The pubs with these in are a bit of a distance from me so I haven't played them much, so cant give much of an informed opinion other than my experiences. Anyone else encountered them yet?

To be fair I have not done well on them and don't like them, but that's just me - also find it very gimmicky and there's something missing off a machine in graphics - I like to see reels clunking and have buttons sticking up in the air to whack ;-)

Played one the other month when I was back in the UK.............. Best game on them seems to be the "Monopoly" - I think it is called "Easy Street"

When you get on board (which seemed to be every other spin on this machine) you go around the monopoly board landing on properties.
Highlight a set and you can play Easy Street (a sort of pick some playing cards which are face down and each one represent a cash value - these are fixed values, and are the same as the properties you highlighted)
The machine will make you an offer, or you can select 1 of the 3 cards you picked. Well I had this around 6 times and 4 times I won £70 ..... here is a little tip

When you go around the board - if you highlight a set which will enable you to play Easy Street - make sure you also have either Park Lane (£70) or Mayfair (MEGA STREAK) lit (both will be very nice) ......... When you select your cards, if the machine offers you £20 or more, you have a £70 card in your selection.... If the machine offers you £35 or more then you have MEGA STREAK, if the machine offers you £50 or more then you have BOTH the £70 & MEGASTREAK cards in your selection.

When you 1st get on the feature you automatically get some properties free -- if the machine gives you Park Lane or Mayfair, then you are looking at a £70 winning coming your way.

It is always best to decline the offer and go for it .... If you get a lower amount, don't worry - machine plays on a % so will have to offer the £70 again very soon

I was looking through YouTube and saw the SNAKES & LADDERS game from this unit been played on a PC ---- So looks like someone has managed to rip the games from the cabinet and make them play on a PC.

Had a play again this evening, highlight playing a new game called Safe Cracker, similar idea with 3 DOND boards, the more icons you collect the better board you can play. Got to play the best board, left with £70, £35, £5, and £2. Offered £28. In hindsight should have dealt I think but no dealt and obviously got left with the £5 and £2 lol. Was still a good, fun play though.

Played quite a bit of Easy Street Monopoly but didn't like it too much. Played the pick a card thing a couple of times, nothing of note, seemed pretty eager to kill me off once I unlocked the ability to play the game.

Still haven't got much of a bad word to say about them yet.

I shoveled a note in one to play Trail Blazer. Unhappy at the poor game, unhappy at myself for shoveling a note in. Now I've pretty much stopped playing 70s. Thanks Juice! :cute:

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.
If you are more interested in playing modern machines,
visit Jackpottyforums

(DOND is around now on this site..... How long was this sig out of date...!)

Get used to these machines guys, theres a well known pub chain getting ready to roll these out in 90% of there sites getting rid of analoge awps as there called now.

Cheeky little move from gamesmedia too as they make and now operate these, so therefore pushing the little guys further behind again.

Not sure your enjoy telling a landlord the machine owes you £70 to many times in a week as i can see a few refusing to pay out as there ticket based.

Blimey. Best not have too many beers before playing these touch-screen fruities, I could end up trying to text someone! :oh:

These "next-gen" fruities, so-to-speak, I can honestly say I'm stuck in my ways and prefer real buttons. Like switching to a new PC OS, a case of getting used to them I suppose. :)

To the guy who stuffed a note in to play Trail Blazer- hope it wasn't because of my praise! It is only worth playing though when it puts you on the board with some of the stars already lit. If it just makes you spin straight away rather than lighting up either level 1, level 2, or level 3 then I find it isn't going to do much.

I also wondered why Mega Streak could go for £45, and asked the landlord- he said that it was because I was on 25p play. When you go to 50p a play, it'll change to 'hyper streak' or something.

I played an horrendous game on a Juice box the other day though, Hot Stuff it was called. Awful, just terrible.

I have had the problem once of receiving my £30 ticket, folding it once and pocketing it to cash later. Went to cash it, and was told that the machine thought it had already been cashed. Luckily, the landlord is a family friend and trusted me, but if the tickets are that temperamental then it doesn't bode well.

I can only see problems with ticket payouts, its ok for bookmakers that hold lots of cash but i know alot of pubs that only hold a till of about £50 as trade is so slow.

I also know some pubs were if its down to the landlord/lady to pay your not gunna get your money unless they like you.

The only good point to ticket payout is it may stop fraudsters untill they find a way round it.

I mentioned to the landlady in my local afew months ago that the Juices have the options for ticket payout. She said that if they forced it on her she would get rid of them and I can understand why. So far, so good!
