Right ive got me a wireless keyboard & mouse
they are chuffing brilliant, one bad point though.... the batteries =/
the mopuse is fine as that runs on AA & ive got plenty of duracells lying around to last me
but the keyboard runs on AAA and i swear ive used about 6 (it takes 2 at a time) in the past 3 days |:, im only doing about 25'000 keystrokes a day & the book says i should get about 500k - 1mil at least
so A) whats the best AAA disposable battery to be had that isnt too pricey
Any cheap rechargeable AAA that are alkaline equivelant or better ( the cheap packs of the market are horrendous & last for about 5k key strokes |: )
Thanks in advance all

Poundland, Toys R Us, and Focus do the gold Kodak ones, that last very well. I often use these myself.
As for rechargeables, go for the biggest amp hour ones you can find (Not the shit 800 / 900 ones in these pound shops), as they will last longer between charges.

I have always found that the Poundshop Gold Kodak batteries run down very quickly. Duracell Plus are very good and last for quite a while even in Digital Cameras. Duracell plus are even better value at the moment with the 4 + 4 free offer.

It's just odd, how your keyboard is managing to eat the batts like this.
Makes me wonder, if you have a fault or something, as even with my shitty old Trust Silverline Deskset, they last a good few months.

It sounds like shit product design, plain and simple. My Logitech keyboard uses 2xAA and I use Energizer 2000mAh Rechargeables and they last like for months and months or something or nothing. Get rechargeables - save the planet.
He who wrestles with a turd will be beshitted whether he fall under it or over it.

Right I've got me a wireless 'ranting rabbit' & 'mouse.'
They are chuffing brilliant, one bad point though.... the batteries =/
The 'mouse' is fine as that runs on AA & I've got plenty of Duracell lying around to last me.
But the 'ranting rabbit' runs on AAA and I swear I've used about 6 (it takes 2 at a time) in the past 3 days, I'm only doing about 5 strokes a day & the book says I should get about 500k - 1 million at least
That's better now we can discuss the solution better with the facts...

Remember this is a tongue in cheek post...
Can one not spot a 'gag' nowadays?
Erm what poll and this has what to do with my post?
However since you are being the master of the 'random' care to explain what this http://www.fruit-emu...html#post188322 has got to do with the Country coming to a halt due to snow?
Snow fall = racism.... nope sorry don't get it.

i can spot a gag, tried to reply but failed
and the link is....
we england as a country used to be strong, people woulod walk miles upon miles to get to school wether it be wind, snow or rain
nowadays agt the 1st drop of rain we cry flood, 1st beeze of wind & its a gale
as times has gone on england has filled up with other races. Mainly of an indian/jamaican/african american variety
their countrys of origin have very little rain/slnow & wind so their views are broadcasted because if we didnt let them have their say we'd be accused of racism as we were preventing them from having their say
so yeah, see the point? and no i am not racist but i do agree that britain gets f***ed up the arse with the racism card
