Is anybody working on a DX for Robin Hood? This is one of my favourite machines of the past few years. I know Pots of Gold is almost identical, but the audio on Robin Hood always makes me smile. .
Also where can I go to learn more about how the emulators work. I have only recently discovered the community and find it amazing. 8O

As far as I am aware no-one is working on this at present. I am free at the moment having just finished Pot of Gold DX. What I would need is a flyer for the machine or at least some good hi-resolution photos of the machine.
Anybody got any?

This sure looks like a pot of gold clone, please note the classic version is already avaliable at this site, with all its sounds for you to enjoy.
Here is a pic, just to remind you of the machine.

It is a complete clone, the only difference being the sound and gfx!
Many would argue that this is in fact a much worse machine however. "Robin Bastard" I think the words used to describe it are....

We had this machine in our local pub for about three months and it used to drop the jackpots fairly regularly, although I'm sure it was a £15 machine - not £10 as shown in the flyer. The landlord had it taken out eventually because he wasn't making any money out of it. The usual contract period was 6-9 months.

Does anybody know where I can find details on how to create FME's? Has anybody written any tutorials or manuals? I have no idea how complicated or easy it is to do, otherwise I might have a go myself.

It is something that many have talked about and a few have taken on, although little has been seen through to completion.
Munsta started the ball rolling with a basic guide to classics and DX'ing which was held at his analogue vegetable site.
No-one has really taken the bull by the horns so to speak and come up with a definitive guide. The best way to learn at the moment is open up some unlocked machines and have a poke around in the design menu, ask lots of questions on forums or IRC when needed, there is usually always someone in IRC (irc.webchat.org, channel #mpu34) who will help you out.
It is a satisfying experience getting a working machine on screen that you have created yourself, but it can be very hard work and very laborious.
