HELP!! I have a Barcrest MPU-5 machine. It seems that the pound coins are not being routed into the hopper. Every coin you put in to play just drops into the bottom cash box. Surely the hopper should be topped up first be for the pound coins drop into the cash box??

PLEASE HELP!

Well welcome to the forums, what machine is it first?. Anyway you are right, the hopper does need to be topped up. Open the top door, use the refill key, and turn it. Press the green hopper top button, and you should hear a sound, and a confirmation should be displayed on thr alpha.

Then put as many coins you need in the hopper, if it's a 5 quid JP, about 50 quid should cover it.

If you don't have a refill key, go to ebay, or ask very nicely here.

Pimp.

The machine is Money Mad Martians, its a Barcrest MPU-5 machine. I have topped the hopper up with £125 and told the machine it is topped up. The £1 coins are not being routed into the hopper, ALL coins are going directly into the bottom cash box all the time... even when the hopper is only half full.

any ideas?

cheers

yeah told him via pm that the routing plug and sorter plug is the first thing to check.

if everything is connected ok then suspect coin mech.
if its a sr5 coin mech then its probably that thats faulty.
