Firefox will only allow a manual Quicktime install but that does not work either.
Any ideas?

Using Firefox and since the chat box went all testosterone on us I have this box (see pic.)
Firefox will only allow a manual Quicktime install but that does not work either.
Any ideas?

It's the new sound feature in the chatbox. A few people have been having problems with it so I'll switch it off.

I installed Quicktime Alternative version ... works well with firefox ...

I quite like the sounds whereas I can view further down the page and still hear the notifications. My chunk of lego disappeared after installing the plugin btw.
