ok then after spend a few days longer than expected on the art for this i have finally decided to release this in the monopoly folder there is a readme file i would suggest reading this befor doing anything as it has important info on what to do when getting started and when collecting your winnings but for those who dont read those types of thing i will list them here.

***A notes to consider when playing this machine

1.On boot up of machine tick the checkbox for B Door this will then show "DOOR OPEN" in the Alpha display.

2.Press 0 or click the coin mech to insert pound coins into the machine to play or press start to insert £12.50 of credits and play in freeplay mode where you can go through the test sequences.

3.When collecting your cash it will display "CALL ATTENDANT" in the alpha display press button A on your keyboard and the collect button together and this will transfer the winnings to the credits side of the alpha and then show a value and then "CLEARED" and you are then ok to continue your game play.

Also i have placed lamps onto the sideart for the chance and community chest cards as when reducing the layout art they have become unreadable.

Thankyou and i hope you enjoy.***

that should cover everything you need to know

this machine only plays in freeplay mode but you can insert coins and play it normaly but meters will not register anything.

if you find anything wrong with the machine that hasnt been covered here then please post and it should be able to get resolved.

thanks for the replies guys

unfortunatley i was unable to sort out the errors with this machine i had tried all i could to get rid of them but with no success it would of been nice to have it without these errors but i did the layout mainly for practice and to see what people thought of it.

hopefully when there is a new upadate of the emulator a lot of these problems with some of the newer roms will be sorted out.

anyways on to my next project. thanks again.

Great release.

I remember getting jackie on this in the wild when it flashed, great feeling.

Not sure if I am doing something wrong. When I run this, it immediately comes up with "source rectangle is invalid"? Probably something noobish

try using mfme 10.1 this was the emu which i created the layout in but if you are using that version of the emulator try using mfme9.4 as it works on that version also

This is a club machine, with jackpots a lot higher than you would see in a kebab shop. You have probably seen the arcade version of this machine, as club fruit machines are aimed at clubs and casinos etc.

Is there absolutely no chance this can be made to work in normal play not just free play, only that I have one in the local club, would be nice to see how it plays!

Wont run in "proper mode" as the emulator gives pay unit errors, and will continue to do so without a newer version of the emulator.

This looks brilliant dOuga1. Sadly got a couple of problems. Tried running this in MFME 10.1 and 9.4 with the same results. Firstly, no matter what resolution I run this in I get all ther buttons missing off the bottom of ther screen. The main problem though is not being able to get any credits in the machine despite following your instructions. I only get the door unlocked message without the B door open and with it either open or closed the only thing I can do is read the meters. Any help on this one please? Thanks for a potentially fantastic release and Merry Xmas!

ok i hear what you say and thought about this try loading the game then when it gets to the point where it says door open go into the gonfig panel and change the door number from 18 to 16 this should then say read meters press cancel then try to insert a coin either by pressing the coin accepter on the layout or by pressing 0 regarding the buttons im not sure but just for the sake of it try setting your resolution to 1280 x 1024 it may just work

That's brilliant thanks. The problem with the screens is that my laptop wouldn't support the required resolution but it's great on my desktop in the resolution you suggested. Everything else works great by changing the door number. I never thought I'd see this one emulated and it's a real cracker. thanks again
