Simple economics innit, you put your cash through at 50p a spin quicker than at 10p, that way the machine gets more punters on it per day therefore more profitt.

Marketting/advertising intice you in at 5p a play, before you know it your hooked and playing £1 a go.
I only play crane machines now, you can't put your winnings back in.
