spybot is good but even that can miss a few things so if its not completely keen then try prevx1

Prevx - Leaders in Malware Research

Its been a fantastic piece of software here and regularly runs scans whilst your system is running, scanning all programs that are currently running to ensure nothing new has cropped up. Well worth a shot :)

Rick from the Young Ones had an ingenious way of getting rid of his annoying pop-up problem. He used to close his eyes and keep saying Margaret Thatcher, Margaret Thatcher and so on.

No good for annoying computer pop-ups admittedly, but maybe worth a shot if the old trousers pop-up becomes an annoying problem. :)

I play a lot of 9-ball pool on miniclip.com and whenever i went on it all the flashing and animated ads at the side and the top made the balls run really slow..I got sooo sick of it I stopped playing it for ages..so looking for a solution i came across a program called Admuncher which removes all the crap from almost every website.

Ad Muncher - The Ultimate Popup and Advertising Blocker Im not sure of the limitations on it..you may get a 30 day trial then need to buy it...I *bought it* about 2 years ago and had it on my computer ever since..:D

Hope this helps ;)
