Hi There Everyone.

Just taken the plunge and bought me the above machine. My ignorance let me think it was ok as everything seemed to work when shown it. However the seller was a bit shady by (it appears) having the top resting down and not shut down thus having it in fre play mode. Once i got it home and powered it up it displays an invalid key error and door 79 error.
I could surely use any help any of you may be able to give me

The machine appears to be in good nick really and came with all keys and percentage keys.

By the sounds of it, the door error is possibly a door switch which has broken and may need replacing, and the invalid key error is either having the wrong jackpot/stake setting, which could be changed by either a jackpot/stake key being fitted/replaced, or dipswitch settings changed.

I may of course be completely wrong!

An invalid key basically means that either the Jackpot/Stake key (in the board) isn't in correctly or the machine doesn't have that sort of setting (ie, machine wont play £25 Jackpot 10p play in that combo) or there isnt one in at all... it can be found on the MPU board inside, but be sure to switch the machine off before messin about with it...

The door switch may actually be a broken switch, such as wiring, but not too sure
