Sorry I didn't realise how this uploading etc work, so didn't add any thanks and info.

My first ever FME release, it's only taken 17 years lol.

It's set at 30p play £25 jackpot.

It's not a machine, I know well, so was created from a tiny pic on Spa's drive (thanks Spa) and a couple of lo res youtube videos. No proper reels were available, so I made the beaver reels up, the other reels are from what is already out there Global symbol wise.

Thanks to Brucegeorge for allowing the use of the win table decals from WWTBAMH.

Thanks to Reg for the layout creating guide, which got me started on looking at producing a layout in the first place.

Thanks to Hithesix for the PM, regarding moving the beaver symbol to the correct position on the reels.

Thanks to Wizard for the emulator of course, goes without saying, even though I just have.

Thanks to everyone who has posted messages in the WIP thread.

Excellent work in terms of getting to know how to use the tools etc.

From somebody that had never done a layout to getting to the poing of doing a quiet complex layout, this is good work.

You've taken on:

1. Not an easy machine to do.

2. Something that was not done before to be relased and released it

I hope that this is the beginning of a long journey for you and you give youself a huge pat on the back for what you have done here.

History will show that a lot of first designers just throw lamps in a rough group, you've clearly put a good chunk of effort into YOUR LAYOUT and not done that.  For example, the Beaver trail on the right hand side.

You are just learning the tools so some of the tricks come later that you can do but for your first solo layout - well done, very well done.

Congratulations on your first layout.

I hope you enjoyed making it and that this is just the start.  Hopefully we can look forward to seeing more layouts from WAC in the future.

Well Done :)

Thanks guys and girls, glad you liked it.

To answer some comment, yes I will do another machine, I just need some roms and to make sure no one else is doing it, or it hasn't been done already. Possibly Beaver Las Vegas??????

Reg, I tried to capture the machine as much as possible, with colours and shapes and positioning in particular, hence the red background last minute change, as the real machine has a red background largely. I also for my first layout, wanted to avoid the MFME font, but unless I'm missing something, I wished the tools had was a heart symbol, which of course MFME font does.

Pook, I immediately thought, I wish you said about the flyer, but then it would have made it less of a challenge, so I'm glad you didn't. As for a DX, a bit beyond me I think and we'd all prefer a hi res Pook DX.

To anyone thinking of doing a first classic layout, get hold of reg's layouts for beginners guide and follow it. Providing the machine is, bacta v1.0 or later, the machines alpha, as explained in the guide, will give you a lot of hints as to what lamps and buttons are what and what should be on the reels and where. It's doesn't take much to work out arrow b and arrow r, are blue and red arrow for instance or cherry f means cherry with a feature symbol on it. Also, if you have a picture or flyer, then working out the feature names, when the alpha says lamp such and such is feature 1,2,3 etc is easy. Then it's a case of positioning everything as best you can to replicate the real machine. There's other machines of the same tech already emulated, which you can gather information on configuration settings.

I think Jonnyafc was doing Beaver Las Vegas, but we do have a complete set of roms for Beaver Uncovered.

I have an image of this which would be beneficial to you. Plus I think Vectra also posted some images of it.

I didn't know you were doing this, would upped it if I'd of known. Not sure it's of a quality for a decent DX but would've certainly helped you lol. Considering you did this with no resources just makes the feat that much better. If you ever fancy a dabble in the DX market  and need anything just shout.
