Can any body shed light on

1) how to make the game machine sounds louder ( and don't say turn your speakers up ) i would like to have a set level so all machines are at the same( ish ) level i've altered the effects and sounds to 255 in the config but that doesn't do the in game sounds...what and where do i need to alter.

for example in Tuttifruiti the sounds are quiet but in pac man they are very loud.

2)  i'm thinking of putting this in a cabinet but when i run games ( F3) full screen they seem to display on different parts of the screen, do i need to down certain table types  ( like i say i'm new so need a little help )

Thanks In advance.  Ian.

BTW loving this site :-)

Some machines you will have to put in test mode to do it, and some have volume if you tick the refill key.

I can confirm that richy1976 is correct.... i hit the refill key and then test you can then use the nudge/hold buttons to increase or decrease the volume, then just design > save game..job done.

Thanks for that...  All i need now is to figure out how to make all full screen games run full screen with out the added side bits.

To remove "sideart" as we call it you'll need to reduce the width of the layout
So in edit mode (red bar) click on any non lamped part of the layout and select properties, you should then have an image of the layout.
Say the layout properties are 1000H X 1600W (which includes sideart) for instance

Reduce the width till only the machine is visible then save accordingly.
This will only reduce it from the right-hand side if arts on the left it won't work!!
Also on later scorp4 and 5 machines (not sure about Mpu5) if you tick dip switch 6 on the top bank1 that'll let you scroll through the test menu when refill is ticked.

Hi again it seams you can't get my Bar-X to fill your screen
Not on lappy atm so not completely sure what to set but

You need to GOTO preferences within mfme5.1 and select
It's either "shrink to screen size or fit to screen size"
Or, right-hand side top bar select I think "window size" and I think it's click "fit to screen"
Someone else will tell you if I'm right or wrong lol.
