So after two years i have managed to get a newish working board off a gentlemen from mecca (TheDoctor) after i rearranged all the wires and made sure everything was okay she started up with a massive spin and was playing perfectly (no sound :/ ) but after i moved her back in to the shed it seems the reel 3 has a solid red light at the back on it as it refuses to spin. Now i have had the reel out and made sure the wires was fitted correctly, It still won't spin.

Wondering if anyone has the Dip settings handy also a fix on the sound and current reel error

Short version:

Things that i need help with

SOUND ~~ When i played with the dip settings it managed to make noise when resetting ram but didn't manage to get past start up to see if it stayed on (Due to Reel error)

Reel 3 Error ~~ It doesn't display a error it just has a solid red light behind, I've made sure it was connected properly but still no movement. (was working for ages until i moved it)

REQUESTING DIP SWITCH SETTINGS

If anyone can help me with my current issues i'd be grateful.

Thank you.

EDIT ONE:

Attached dip switch settings. (Still not right)

EDIT TWO:

I swapped the reels about but always seem to get stuck with a solid red light on reel 3.

Hopefully this video will justify my issue.

EDIT THREE:

Completely fixed and keeping it on £200. (View post 7 for a video of her in play)

Safe to say that as the reel fault stays in the same place when you swap the reels round, it's not a faulty reel.
If it stopped working properly when you moved it then a loose connection is most likely, it might not be easy to trace though...

Reel issue is now fixed but just sound to fix,

I can hear the sound but it's ever so quite. You literally have to
Put your ear to the speaker, can I simply replace it with a car speaker (old crappy one) ?

Many thanks.

I upgraded the speakers in my red hot poker with ones for a car.

Just made sure they were 8ohm like the originals.

Just a quick feature but more videos of her on my youtube.

She is in fully working condition and couldn't be happier.
