It was around 98/99 and there was a fruit machine I used to lose far too much money to and now I'd like to track it down.

The only things I remember were:

I think the jackpot symbols were 3 diamonds.

I believe keys were involved on the feature board.  Perhaps the keys were to get entry to the board or to access the inner board.

It was 20p play and £15 jp.

There may have been an egyptian theme but I might be confusing this with another fruit machine.

I know this isn't much to go on but that is all I can remember right now.

Sounds like Impulse Fortune and Glory.  I don't have a picture I'm afraid.

I think you are right fuzion.  I searched on google images and although it's a low res picture I think thats the one.

Thanks very much.

Was this machine never emulated?

No we don't have this machine emulated currently....  but there is an EPOCH emulator being worked on, this machine runs on the EPOCH platform along many other machines of this era...

Some decent Impulse machines back in the day, some decent Maygays too.

Was looking through epoch flyers on monday night.Got to say the current flyers we have are not very good for making dx's.They seem blurred and low res, were the machine on the flyer looks a hundred miles away. The only decent ones i have are for a game called carry on clubbing and grid runner.

Yes mate I had a look through and they aren't great.  It's not the scanning it's the original art prints they just aren't good enough quality.

Wow!

This was a cracking slot and one I spent hours on.

Would so love to see this emulated -I know this would probably be Epoch, but still worth the wait.

I'm pretty sure these numbered when showing, very similar to some of the decent JPM's at the time.  Great machine.

Going from KC's latest update he was hoping to get something released to layout designers at the end of the month.  I think he is coding this emulator alone and I imagine his real world job has to take priority.   I can't wait though, some excellent early epochs I'd certainly like to play again.
