In the space of 4 arcades in felixstowe there is a whopping 71 terminals.

3 player stand ups / 4 play sit downs / 3 player new terminals / and sit down one player.

Is it just felixstowe area covered like this?

Can be a Thousand as far as i'm concerned as since the days of MPU4's and indeed 3's i'm glad to say I haven't put a single penny in them.

Modern machines just don't interest me in the slightest (i'm pleased to say)...did enough in the 'old' days......and they screw me big-time too in the end....but over years and not days!

God only knows what these newer (so called) machines are doing to bank accounts of the youngsters now-a-days.

I still believe in an Arcade machine having a real low cap (so-as to maintain the fun factor), a pub a little more and a Club JP being higher....those day's are gone now.

Well said Ady.

I've made comments in regards to arcades these days before, so won't go into ALL of it again, as whoever has read them will understand how I already feel.

In a few brief words, arcades these days are all C.R.A.P and as you have already said, not worth spending a penny in ANY of them.

I used to quite happily spend many hours in my locals many times a month, but now don't even bother making the effort anymore to even go.

Purely for the fact that the fun has gone, the machines are awful and it is a total rip off.

Who in their right mind wants to blow £100 (or whatever it is) getting nothing for their money, having awful entertainment, no fun and to get ripped off?

Beats me.................And arcades wander why they are in the state they are in and can't bring in the regulars?

If it wasn't for seafront busy arcades, tourists and gambling addicts, I wouldn't be surprised if the industry is still alive in 10 years time.
