Long shot I know but does anyone have a cabinet for a Maygay machine the black ones used on manhattan skylines or lightening strike type machines, or is there any decent flyers/dx,s of Maygay machines using this cab I could rob from lol.
The reason you ask! I was going to test my photoshop skills to the limit and try to dx manhattan skylines I've still got some photo's of the machine 1/2 lit so would need to blank all lit text out and re-write it a bit like what I did on terminator. It may go tits up but would like to try it. That's why I need a blank cab as a base to start it off. Although retro fruit started a wip of this AFAIK he never finished it off.

Thankyou I'll take a look laters.
Should help out, as you mentioned PS, it can 'bring them back to life' if you use the correct tools.
I'd imagine you know what to use in it now though.
They arn't good quality as mentioned though be assured of that
Good luck, this is my era and I look forward to the release.

Also asked again on Mr p's as he has the actual machine although he's very busy with moving premises and such but you never know. We can all hope. The machine isn't really a top five of mine but remember playing it in chippy where I worked in early 90's on all cash jp so would be nice to see it added to my collection for old times sake. And every creator would agree it's great when a memory of yours comes to life in any layout form.

so far with the photo's I got a while back this is what I've come up with so far. problem I'm getting is the photo's have different brightnesses to them and various flash burns, tell me if it needs more straightening etc. I'll keep chipping away at it will need a heck of a lot of work to it to get only a little bit as good as retrofruit's original Wip that was awesome work!!!
P.S If the pound sign looks odd I've got another copy of the same state of machine but with the original £sign again it had a fair bit of flash so tried putting a darker image over it!!

Just letting you know this isn't at the lighting up stage only the straightening up part, all the text you see most if not all will be removed some how and readded so basically stripping it right down to the skeleton art of the machine.

Vectra are you not masking the reels on this? You wont need to remove all the flash as you only need to remove the parts you need to keep, like the black lines etc.
It's been a while since I done any layouts but this just took me about 5 minutes to knock up as an example. I could be wrong tho.

Yes I will mask the reels but I do that at the very end of lighting up probably a few weeks from now, it,s the parts on the righthand side and below the 3rd reel not the actually reel windows that needs tiding up.

Does seem a little ungreatful Vectra. You didn't have to actually say you have also asked on Mr p's after the fact. You could have just done it without having to say it. I can see why ady is a little cheesed off with that reply. Not taking sides just saying what I see.

Can't seam to quote on here anymore but....
I have asked Dave I think his name is, (mr p) Several times prior to this topic but I get no response (again I know he's a very busy man) like I seam to with many requests I ask for regarding un-dxed machines. Of course all help I'm very grateful for but the better the images the better the dx , anyways not worth arguing over. I'm making do with the photo's I got we'll see what happens with them.
