We all lose, that's the biggest part of gambling but it's nice to hear both sides of the story, people don't wanna hear the bad bits, people like success including images n vids.
If people read these posts on a fruit machine site then they're already gamblers. And how would a loss topic sound!
I lost £500 on a Dond the end, very boring.
But yes like dad puts it, it could do with rebalancing so if anyone has or have had major losses then please do post. Always two sides to every coin in fruity land.

Been saying this for years!

Topics about winning on machines should be balanced with losses as in my opinion it send out the wrong signals to those who are trying to quit or possibly even tempting those who haven't dabbled before into trying it for the first time.

I also lost 3.2k in a bookies  once. It made me sick. I was so pissed when i walked out I smashed the fire alarm. Not clever I know but at the time it made me feel just a tiny bit better, well for about 30 seconds, then i wanted to jump of the nearest bridge. But instead got help from the Gordon moody project in London. if that's enough to put you off i don't know what is.

I would like to say it evens itself out but it don't, winnings only get me back about 58% of what I have gambled.

Went to the "High Tide" amusement arcade in Porthcawl S. Wales yesterday, first time I've gambled in many months.

Its a  typical seafront arcade £5 jackpot/ 10p play, I went through a £100 in under half an hour, the machines claim 72-92% pay-out, however the biggest win I had was just £3, NOT EVEN ONE £5 jackpot, must be some sort of record, "unless YOU know different?".

Lesson learned, non gambler again!

I'm assuming most of the losses were on lo - tech machines - Golden X e.t.c. as to not get a jackpot across hi - tech board based AWPs within £100 is shocking!

That's the state of arcades these days full of shite machines on percentages that appear to be well below the 70%, very rarely do you get profit out of the fiver fruits. No amusement in amusements anymore!

No that's the thing I found unbelievable, ALL the machines I played WERE Hi Tec, e.g.  Monopoly, DOND (all variants), Vamp it up, etc.

Only half the machines were cash pay-out, the others were ticket payers, you know, a million tickets for a gonk.

Oh yeah the ticket payers were a massive 35% average.

Totally agree with Vectra, the place was full of  miserable faces and  kids asking for more and more money to feed the machines.

When I was a kid in the late 70s you could spend hours in there for just a couple of quid, ok so money went further then, but these days it just felt as if I'd been mugged.

Thank god, no thank you guys for Fruit Emu, keeps me sane. M

I think you mis Ady's point. It's because he, like many others here lost a lot that balance needs to be shown on a forum that has a lot of ex problem gamblers.

Of course winning is exciting but it's also far from a likely outcome. For that reason a thread full of "how great is gambling" info is dangerous for some members of the forum and thus requires balance.

I have read some Good and Bad results from some Users and today I decided to take the step to trying Ten Pounds on a site called BETSAFE".

I was just casually playing on the slot Rainbow Riches today and within a few spins I got the Pots on the line and got £200 as I didn't expect to get them in such a short time..

And then about Fifteen Pounds later I got them again and this time on £1 a spin and got the Gold Pot (x500)

I was ready to Withdraw after this until i got a message saying "You Have To Play £253.00" before Withdrawing any money so instead of just letting it keep there as it was part of the Deposit £10 And Get £10 Free so I ended up doing it casually getting small wins and a few boards of the Leprechauns but didn't make much but was happy at the end of it.

Ended up walking away from the site with..£550.00

Great results there, yep them wagering requirements are a bitch sometimes. I tend to not do them as much since my mega win above. Recently I went online with usual £20 allowance and made a nice £400 profit from cosmic cash but be careful playing same machines on same sites as they've still got precentages to reclaim

Tell me about it, I had to do free spins on the 285.30 and then a further 384.70 even before I could actually reclaim my money but I thought, I ain't going to do that as once i saw the Withdraw Option I was like, yeah, i'll cash out and 20 minutes later my bonus dropped and all my 17p left was taken! :)

Had a "quick" play of MRTR earlier today, got to invincible, got the main RTR feature, and was expecting nothing much more than the standard five pound jackpot.    Lo and behold it repeats six times, which was a good 30 pound profit, all this for only putting in one or two pound to begin with.

The biggest thing was the surprise.  Had the feature many times before but to come in six times was unheard of.  (Had it five before at best).

If it had been the 30 / 50 pence version would have been a decent 200 pound win but it was the ten pence play.    Even so got there before anyone else as they would have taken it instead.    :realmad:

I can't play in arcades any more, or online (due to where I live). But I do play slots in casinos when I travel. I lose a lot less and get far more entertainment, than I ever did in the arcades in the UK. For example: I spent 30 days in Las Vegas last year playing in every casino possible, for as long as possible every single day, and my average days spend(loss) was $100 for 5-6 hours play. (Min stake max lines). My decent wins were: $500+ on a Cleopatra with 5 scatters on 40c a spin at Wynn casino, $600+ at the Excalibur on a 50 lions feature, that spun in almost a full screen of lions TWICE in the same feature!  My best win was $988 on a wicked winnings 2 on 50c a spin while I was waiting to use the ATM in Flamingo.

I would dread playing slots in a casino in the UK with the ridiculous price of play. It was bad enough in Singapore with slots averaging the UK equivalent of 2.50 and 5 pound a spin.

I won 5k a couple of months back. I also managed to get it all on camera so no one could say it was free play (youtube joke). I would post the link to the video but I fear that a member on here will continue to harass me on here as well as youtube. I have had to delete dozens of messages and the sod has even take a screen shot of one of my videos with me in it and is using it as his youtube picture. I have complained to youtube but they didn't do bugger all so I just blocked him but he set up another account and continued to bug me. The KING is dead lets leave it that way.
