Funds are available... however after what happened last time it doesn't bode well...

Is there any news on the last lot of flyers, by the way?

Was it when they were mysteriously bid up by person or persons unknown?

Yeah unfortunately we never quite got to the bottom of it. They were won by someone who apparently promised to provide scans for resources. I am hopeful that this will still be happening.

Funny how every time something worthwhile comes up on ebay, we always get outbid.

Remember those Club Bullion and Money Trail ROM cards that went for £75, anyone want to make an educated guess as to who is outbidding?

I've got a industry grade A4 scanner that can remove print 'pock marks' if any one wants it. It's got the SCSI card it needs to run, too (PCI).

I would set it up but my gaming PCs do not have PCI and the PCI in my workstation are all in use (I have a RAID card and sound card in and cannot remove them).

Give it a couple of weeks and I'll send it free, I'll even pay for a courier. But I want it to go to some one who knows how to use such a thing and will inevitably use it.

I paid a fortune for it.

I have access an Epson GT15000 at work, it's a fairly decent scanner

I would still never use a flyer for a DX personally, they simply are not good enough quality I find.

That makes all of us then, at the moment.

I believe someone said that they have been in contact with the winning bidder of the previous lot and that they were going to make resources available, but I haven't seen an update.

Yes, BG said he had been in touch with the winner, but no news since then.

I could actually bid on this and pick em up as only live 30miles away but a. I have no scanner and b. I've been brewing this up- What's the point getting them with all these bad feeling's being thrown around by various members, we get them then we'll get moaned at For using someone else's roms or layouts for lamping purposes. Or can't make another resolution as in a 1024dx as there's already a shitty 1280 one can't tread on anyone's toes etc. Or someone else gets them and holds us to ranson at least Samson got and shared thankyou.

Sorry for hijacking this topic But it seams most topics have gone off-topic these days why not this one.

I promise as soon as I have the list I will post it in full and I have no issues having the scans sent to my email and I will do everything I can to get them added to a site for everyone to use as and when they want :)

I live in Weston-super-Mare (20 minutes away) and would be able to pick these up should any winning bids be placed.  I also have a scanner and plenty of free time on weekends.  I am also able to chip in should a group bid be made.
