Well glad it arrived safe, despite the few probs, could do with pics of everything then if you got probs might be able to help better.

Well the problems mainly appear to be ironed out now, everything is working as it should, other than the gamble button which needs to be replaced as it doesn't work, but I'm not worried about that... I'll either fix it, easy enough, or just not bother, and use the gamble button on the screen!

The only issues I can foresee are with the loading new games onto the machine... I'm going over to my mates house where the machine currently sits, to see if I can do it... I'll let you know the outcome!

Thanks for the PM, I'll check it now and keep a note of the details. Really appreciate all your help with getting this running for me and giving me the info I wanted!!!!!!

Can you connect it to another screen to replicate the original feature display?

Do you mean connect it to an external monitor? I guess you could.

Or do you mean connect it up so its got the main display AND another display? In which case, I don't know!

I would read through these posts first --- someone else bought one of these systems last year and f***ed it up trying to put more games on it.

The games will be installed. You need to go into config and game and there will be a little logo that looks like a floppy disc. This will show you the other games. You just select which one you want and install it. It will reboot and bam you have the new game.

Yep, loaded all the games I'd downloaded from the net, and installed them, theyve shown up, alongside all the other games that the seller said were on there!

Only problem I've found so far is that on the £35 rainbow riches, only the top screen of the two displays on my single monitor machine. I wondered if theres any way to plug in a second monitor so that i can see both displays? Otherwise the game is unfortunately unplayable, as you can only see the top screen which displays the spinning pots feature when you get it.

The graphics card on the pc does have two outputs, a DVI and a VGA. I moved the monitor from the DVI to the VGA slot, but it still shows only the top display.

Anyone know of a way to get a dual monitor system working? I could have a secondary monitor resting on top of the machine, for example?

It could be that my machine will not display games meant for the two monitor rio cabinet?

Something else it said was that no theme is installed. Am I right in thinking that if I install a theme, I can have multiple games which are selectable from a menu? Or is that only on the Triple 7 machines?

The Rainbow Riches game said that it wouldn't run on the selected operating category... I tried every category though, B3, B2, C, D, so a bit lost as to why that one wont run!

Don't know what to say about £35 RR, just presumed it would show both screens on your bottom one like Grand Casino does, does cashino work ok?

Suppose you could try attaching monitor to other output and see what happens, after all it started life as having 2 screens, just that it's 2nd one would have been the large shared one.

Which RR wouldn't run cos of wrong op cat £500 or £35 ?

Not a clue about theme thing, it's never happened to me, I think I only ever seen Triple 7 cabs with loads of games on but I might be wrong on that

Its the £500 Rainbow Riches which won't run due to the category. The £35 Rainbow Riches does run, but only shows one screen, so you can't see the actual game being played. I'll plug my telly into it, thats got a VGA output and I'll see what happens!

Haven't actually tried Cashino, though I'm suspecting the same thing will happen, just like the £35 Rainbow Riches, but we'll see!

Will update as and when I get the chance to go over my mates house again!

Oh, forgot to mention... the 10p hopper doesnt appear to work. When collecting a bank of less than a quid, the 10p hopper doesnt attempt to do anything, and the "hey! check it out!" alarm comes on, deafeningly loud!

Maybe just a loose wire or something, I'll have to investigate and see what I can do to fix it!

I'll have to check when I next go over as I've left the usb stick there and I know the version number also gets displayed on the machine, so I'll check and let you know.

So far I've installed Elvis Top 10 hits, and that pays out cash. So does Monty Python and Grand Casino. It looks like Rainbow Riches £35 jackpot will also pay out money, but I havent actually collected anything other than a 10p bank, which alarmed...

Hang on... it may well by that theres nothing wrong with the 10p hopper at all, just that the machine knows Rainbow Riches £35 shouldn't actually be installed, and THATS whats causing the error, not the actual hopper. I'll have to do a bit more research into this!

OK, a bit of a problem has occured...

Because I loaded Rainbow Riches £35 jackpot onto the machine (which was fine), I now have a bank of 20p... I tried to collect this, and it alarmed (10p hopper jammed, will sort this at a later date). When rebooted, the machine is now in "disabled" mode.

When I try to enable the game, it says "cannot change game whilst credit is in machine", when I try to delete the game, it says the same. When I try to install a new game, it says the same.

I can't collect the 20p, as I can't enable the game.

So I'm stuck on the menu screen, with a 20p bank that I cant collect, or play off, as it won't let me run the game installed, or install any new games. So i can't get ANY game running.

Is there a way to clear the credit, i.e. by either going into the system menus on the machine (which I cant see a way to do), or to put the drive into my pc, and perhaps remove the game manually as nails was saying earlier? (Advice appreciated if you can remember how to do this please nails!).

Currently I've got the PC out of the machine, but I havent opened it up yet.

Ok I've put the hard drive from the bandit into my computer and I can read all the files on the drive... All I need to do now is find where the credit amount is stored, set it to zero, and should be problem solved!

Don't suppose anyone knows which file the credits are stored under? ;-))

You need a refill key. Just refill the machine and this will clear the bank for you. If not why not just put enough money in to to make it £1 and then collect. That will make the counter go to 0 so should be able to play it. Ow yea and once you done the refill you need to enable the game again.
