Default is Maygay's Cash Is King emulated ?

Hi everyone

I've been looking 8O around to see if Maygay's classic 'Cash Is King' has been emulated as I think it is a cool fruit machine.

It plays similar to the Fight Night and Cluedo fruit machines and these have been emulated 8) .

WOW - Just noticed - it's been a year today since I became a member !!

doesn't time fly  !?

cheers

Jason

I've just checked the 'downloads' section of this site and it's not in there.
It's on the blue bar just below the fruit emu logo @ the top of this page.
Although Fight Night e.t.c is there, this one isn't yet.
This could be as it is not M1a technology, possibly Epoch.
Cash is King was one of the later genre of games to be released in this vein. A few of them were distributed in the older cabinet paying out from tubes, but most were in 'Apollo' cabs with a red surround paying from a hopper.
Certainly games like 'Evil Streak' and that 'other fishy one' were the start of Epoch technology I believe.
It was fairly similar to Cluedo, the differences being that getting all keys meant a fiver - not a £2 repeat + no repeat minimum and also it gave steps instead of knockouts, making the middle reel symbol easier to obtain. Revolver anyone?
It also had the standard magic '6' Maygay streak of that era.
a good machine, but you'll have to make do with Cluedo and Fight Night for now unfortunately!

This database will tell you it's not been emulated, though it doesn't distinguish between: 'not done, as no resources' and 'unemulatable tech'.

aw !

that's a shame !

thanks for looking though.

It'll probably be a while before it gets emulated really.

You will find Cash is King running on M1B. Therefore it can be emulated.

However, in the current version of MFME the roms do not function correctly, and give Reel 1 error. This needs an emulator update to fix.

Many late M1 based machines give the same error in the emulator and I am advised it will need an emulator update.

So sorry, not as yet.

I was offered one from a supplier for £75 just over a year ago. but decided not to get it [from a photo] as it looked like a boring game

I look forward to MFME2, so I can see what I missed out on

it's been 3 years now everyone, and newer emulators are available.

Does anyone know if the reel 1 error is now fixed, and if anyone is resurrecting the emulation of this fruit machine?

Ignore me if not !
