unable to download

hi there,
please can you explain why i was unable to download any files from this site today,
i tried to download the game moneygame 1280dx this morning and i got this message from you,

Downloading this file will cause you to exceed your daily download limit...
To prevent abuse of the downloads section, the administrator has placed
daily limits on how many files and/or bytes per day that users may download

i must say i was a bit peed off when i got the above message as i had only just started to try and download anything today,
this is a great site so lets keep it that way,

This is because you i.s.p has capped your download limit, and if you download now you are going over your subsribed limit.

i have downloaded from other sites today, after this site refused me to download,
if i go over my monthly download limit i can still download but i get billed extra at the end of the month,

There is an upper limit on the amount of files in mb you can download from the site in any 24 hour period.

I assume you were downloading alot last night after midnight and have therefore downloaded all you can for the day.

I could be wrong though.

never had this problem b4 even when there have been a few releases at the same time,

As It Says If You make a Donation you can downloads loads but to a max download Limit Take a Look In the left section under DONATIONS

Otherwise you can only download 35mb per day .. which is stupid lol

It could be a cookie problem. Try deleting any cookies you have from this site, and try again.

You'll have to log back in after you've deleted them, but it might work.

Never had the problem myself so can't be sure.

I can only still download upto 20mb which is crap .. maybe Fruit Emu need to extend the download limit a little

The limit was 10 files or 32Mb whichever came first. You had hit the 10 file limit. I have now increased these to 40 files and 64Mb.

The download limits are in place to prevent leeching from the site. Excessive downloading was increaing the server load and therefore slowing down the rest of the site. The download limits were therefore put in place for everyones benefit.
