It's a great ad for mis-informing the populous.

The advert says that if you spend £100 on electrical stuff this christmas, then they will give you a free £10 card for you to give to that someone special.

Thinking about it, it's just a simple promotion but why on earth don't they just knock 10% off all their stuff? This would be a more welcoming thing. Back to the £10 card though. I guess it could be a good idea to give to a cousin or neice or nephew but wait. They are implying that the card would make a good gift for someone special. I'm interpreting that as giving it out as a christmas present. But whats this? I read the small print at the end of the advert, and the card is only valid from Dec 5th to Dec 24th. Fancy that eh? You stick the card to a selection box for one of the youngsters in your family and it's worthless when they open their pressy.
