Ok... I'm sure everyone has one of these at least in their family...

Person 1.. "Hi , Just calling to see if there's anything special you'd like for xmas, or some ideas so that I can get you something you want."

Person 2..."I'm fine, honestly... I don't need anything, just a card from you will do for xmas, I don't want you wasting your money on me when I know you've not got much"

So... My question is, when you've been buying someone chocolate, or cigarettes etc for xmas for years then they go on a diet and give up smoking. What do you buy?

Their only interest is cars, but they don't read books, they don't have time to watch the 10,000 Videos and DVD's we've brought before, they've got all the cd's they want...

Any suggestions, or anyone else also need help?

Some of my family are hard to buy for.My dad is the worst.Used to be happy with a nice malt whiskey but not drank the bottle I bought him last year.Trouble is,at 70 years old,he has everything.Wardrobe is packed with clothes he will never wear,not into technology and doesn't go out much.
I think the easy option is to buy him a gift card so he can get what he wants.
Most stores do them now and you can pay whatever you want on one.Probably get an Argos one for him,loads of choice there.
