ive had no problems with aol at all
as some else said its now owned by carphone warehouse it was bought
In 2006 Carphone Warehouse won a takeover battle to buy AOL UK,
so it took them this long to update? lol

Default aol

i have talk talk and had loads of shit at first for about 2 month after about 2 hours on hold i finally got in touch with technical support <what a laugh that was. a case of what, ehhh, say that again lol>but finally i was given a second line technical support number by the kind foreigner or whatever he was and would you believe it i was put through to a geordie like myself he sorted it straight away he reduced my line speed to 1.5 meg instead of 2.5 meg he said the speed was blocking my line cos it was trying to handle too much data at once dont know it this is true but it has been a steady 1.3-1.4meg since no dropped line no slow speed no modem error im well happy long may it last and its dirt cheap too ....

we used to have aol it was ment to be 16mb and according to speedtest we were getting 0.5 or less mb so i rang up the customer foneline somewere in india and took me about 4 hours and about 7 million pounds of a fonecall for me to tell him that theres nothing up with my router and in the end i ended up getting another isp and im still using the same router and getting around 6mb from talk talk

also with aol our password stopped working so asked to get a new account thingy which ment that i had to subscribe again and yet they still charged me for the one i didnt have any they then had the cheek to tell me that on their records they havent charged me errmm a wee bit of bullshit was comming out of the fone at that time so once i cleaned me ears i rang the fuckers up again and started apologising and blah blah blaah and just fucked them off in the end and there still probably charging me for the dozens of accounts i havent got acsess to

Mine works OK now, only the occasional disconnect now and then which is not perfect but good enough.

However, I need to be careful of another annoying problem. If my laptop shuts down because the battery has run out, Dial BB is nowhere to be found when I reboot, meaning I've had to call the Boys from Bombay up twice to sort it out. So be careful people, make sure your laptop is plugged in, because if it shuts down, you may find that Dial BB gets wiped off...

Lol, they have router fetishes. In my case, I ask them for the account password to be reset because it was forgotten, I get asked the make of my router and is it plugged in and the internet light on.

No! I just want my password resetting please

Tits!
