but i would seriously think about changing youre ISP as it can make hell of a diffrence.
i used to be with SUPANET for some 5yrs and all was fine (8meg but actual speed of around 3.5kbps) and then for no reason i got throttled to an amazing
0.01mbps!!! after several calls to supanet and no explanation or increase in speed i changed to dreded TALK TALK and i can honestly say my broadband has never beeen so good. i now get 7.4kbps at all times with no caps or "traffic shaping" even though i download almost 20 gig a week most weeks via torrents.
and its only half the cost i paid with supanet, so go out and find your self another ISP mate.
